Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Harmony Street mobile application available on iOS and Android (the “App”), operated by Harmony Street Society Foundation (“Harmony Street,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

2. Eligibility

The App is intended for users 13 years of age or older.
By using the App, you represent that you meet the minimum age requirement.
We do not knowingly allow individuals under 13 to create accounts.

3. Account Registration & Security

You must create an account using a valid email address and password.
Email-based two-factor authentication (2FA) is required for account security.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.

Harmony Street is not responsible for losses resulting from unauthorized access caused by your failure to safeguard your credentials.

4. App Services

The App provides tools to:

Record income and expenses
Upload and store receipts
Track gigs and calendar events
Generate CSV and PDF exports
Receive reminders and notifications

The App is provided for organizational and informational purposes only.

5. Subscriptions, Free Trial & Payments

5.1 Free Trial

New users may be offered a 7-day free trial.
The free trial automatically converts into a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial period ends.

5.2 Subscription Billing

The App offers a monthly subscription.
All payments are processed exclusively through:
- Apple App Store In-App Purchases
- Google Play Store Billing
Harmony Street does not process, store, or have access to your payment details.

5.3 Subscription Management & Cancellation

Subscriptions must be managed and canceled directly through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Deleting the App or your account does not automatically cancel your subscription.

5.4 Refunds

All purchases and refunds are handled directly by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective policies.
Harmony Street does not issue refunds.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Use the App only for lawful purposes
Provide accurate and up-to-date information
Maintain your own records and backups
Ensure compliance with applicable tax, financial, and legal obligations

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any data you enter into the App.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes
Attempt to access another user’s account or data
Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
Introduce malware, viruses, or harmful code
Interfere with the App’s operation or security

Violation of these terms may result in account suspension or termination.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Account Deletion & Termination

9.1 User-Initiated Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the App.
Once deleted, your account becomes immediately inaccessible.
Certain data may be retained temporarily to comply with legal or regulatory obligations.

9.2 Termination by Harmony Street

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

Violate these Terms
Pose security risks
Engage in misuse or abuse of the App

10. Intellectual Property

All content, software, trademarks, and logos within the App are the property of Harmony Street Society Foundation or its licensors.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal use.
No rights are granted to copy, distribute, or exploit any content without written permission.

11. Disclaimers

The App does not provide tax advice.
The App does not provide legal advice.
The App does not replace a certified public accountant (CPA) or legal professional.
Information provided through the App is for general organizational purposes only.

You are responsible for consulting qualified professionals for tax, legal, or financial matters.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Harmony Street shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages.
We are not liable for data loss, financial loss, or inaccuracies resulting from user-provided information.
Use of the App is at your own risk.
